In the Hunt Acrylic Case

I just got back the first revision of the In The Hunt Acrylic PCB cases that I designed. This is my first time making something like this so I’m learning a lot. It isn’t perfect yet. This cover is just barely too big so I need to go back to the drawing board. I hadn’t seen any other Irem M92 cases so I thought there was a need. I was inspired by Telpherion’s examples. Let me know what you think!

Looks good, but way too tall. I would make a cut out for the heat sink and then lower it a ton. Unless it just looks talk from that angle.

It’s definitely too tall. I’ll just had to use the standoffs I had on hand. The upper standoffs pictured are 50mm and it needs 35-40mm posts. In the end I’ll end up going with M3 size instead of m4. It’s a little easier to find the specific sizes this board combo needs. I don’t want to cut a hole for the heat sync if I can help it. I’d rather just lower the board until it is just above it. Thanks for the feedback. I totally agree.

Second revision of the plexis came in. Updated logo and revised cuts. Everything is good to go except for a couple of holes for the bottom board supports. They work as is but I’d like to get them lined up better. Overall very happy with this. Looking forward to getting these into production. Please forgive the shoddy standoff set up. Still waiting on correct ones from China.

would anybody here be interested in doing a pre-order? Let me know if you’d like one. I’m also curious if people would just want the acrylic cases or if they would also want standoffs provided. This is my first time doing a project like this.

These boards will work for other M92 games so if there’s more interest I can do logos for other games as well.

Wanted to post a picture with it all hooked up. I think I can get away with lowering the bottom posts by 5mm to make it all a little more compact. Much happier with how this is looking.
