Atomiswave Expansion I/O functionality

So I'm wondering which Atomiswave games make use of this Expansion I/O module.
For as far as I'm aware it can be used for either 3/4 player games, but also shooting games and driving games.

Can someone list which games use the 3/4 player functionality?

Also I would be very interested to see how this Expansion I/O connects to a GUN PCB for the shooting games ;)
 
I know both Maximum Speed and Faster than Speed used it. I have one an original Maximum Speed harness if you need me to check anything.
 
well, on tech side... AW controls is quite like Dreamcast.
one of AW customs 'ROMEO' chips on mobo internally connected to Maple ports 1 and 2, and works as regular Dreamcast controllers, but have digital inputs only wired to JAMMA connector P1 and P2 inputs.

External I/O cartridge have one more ROMEO IC which connected to Maple ports 3 and 4.
however its functions more advanced, it have several operation modes can be switched on the fly:
- DC controller mode, similar to internal P1 P2 controllers but have 4x analog inputs (used in racing games)
- DC Light Gun device mode (used in shooting games)
- DC Mouse/Trackball mode (used in fishing games)

Ext.I/O cart also have 8x digital outputs for some external devices, like sound board in Extreme Hunting or lamps, etc.
so any game which have some outputs uses this IO board, all racing games, all gun games and Bass Fishing games.
