Sega JVS I/O Rev B. Differences?

So I was looking atpicking up a Sega JVS I/O Board Rev. B. In doing so I came across two versions;838-13683-92/93. Visually I see a diode on the bottom of the *-93 board. Notsure what it does to be honest. Are there any other known differences betweenthese two versions?

it's on the top of the other board - whatever it is looks like a bodge.

Ah nice, thanks @stj. Didn't really notice that, but yeah seems weird. So far my research isn't showing any differences in the two Rev B. boards.
