Cd drive not properly connected

Having an issue with one of my cps3 motherboards where it keeps giving me this error. I have used the cable and cd rom as well as an scsi2sd to another motherboard and they all work fine. For some reason this motherboard is not able to detect a drive. Any ideas on what else could be going on?

Are any of the scsi pins on your cps3 motherboard damaged?

They all look good. Cleaned them and also did a continuity check from bottom of board to bottom of scsi2sd board and everything checks out.

I had the same problem, suddenly I program a darksoft no cd (load the simms with another motherboard) and since I have a 3.3 no cd.

Thanks Wesker, is there a guide somewhere how to do that? I didn’t know that was possible.
