What's new
Hi!

I have saved the 2 original eprom.they have a timing of 100ns.

they are in the erasure phase, it is long .as soon as it's finished in 40 minutes.
I inform if it's ok or shit lol
so you used the original chips but with the ver.A code? what size were the original chips?

The program code for rev.A is twice the size. If you’re using those original chips, that’s why it is boot looping.

But that probably means you just need 27c080 that is the same speed. If your chips says “27c4001-10f1” the “-10” is actually 100ns. So you need 27c080 or 27c801 also at 100ns.

if I take 27C801 at 80 ns is it okay too :?:

Hi! :)

Here are the newsI received the eprom 27C801 100ns & 27C4001 80ns.

I had the color bands at startup a fraction of a second & always the same error after X/ .

I saw brands of Jumpers.

But I don't know if they should be configured ?( ?

You wrote e25-13.4 and e25-14.3 to the 27c801 100ns?

You have a logic probe? What does pin 1 do on the 27c801? (A19)

any probe is fine, anything $20 is fine. I like the ones with a speaker in them. i'm just wondering if that pin is tied high or low. @twistedsymphony you seemed to think this was wired for 27c801 already, but he said the pin1 was connected to a voltage pin on the 74f138. think that was an error? any more ideas?

this could be tedious to figure out over the internet... buy a taito g-net and you're all set! :D

Hi !

I looked at the match on my PCB Board Fighter Impact :)

it is possible to do another solution than strapping, so as not to disfigure the PCB :S

Sorry for the exaggeration

Without having the pcb myself I can’t recommend any other paths. There may be a jumper connected to that pin that you could enable. But for all I know they did that mod above at the factory. They may have even needed to cut a trace if that pin is connected somewhere already. You should use your logic probe on that pin to see what it’s doing while the game is powered
