Hey guys,
So I have an opportunity to snatch up an otherwise clean New Net City; the only issues with it are associated with the monitor. It has a good amount of burn, and the seller says that the brightness is cranked up to near it's max on the chassis (Sanwa KW0606A) but the picture looks really dim. I'm wondering if this thing is worth picking up with the main feature of the NNC being it's display, and this ones being kinda suspect.
I have a few questions related to this in addition to getting your thoughts on what I've already mentioned:
It should also be noted that I have a relatively low level of sophistication when it comes to arcade repair. I've done a couple cap kits, rewired so,e lights, swapped monitor transistors and ICs, buttons/controls, etc but nothing really "advanced". The geometry / color balance looks pretty good on this from what I can tell. It's the brightness and burn which I'm wrestling with and just don't know enough about.
I've attached some photos to help you guys see what I'm working with.

- Is the dimmness a tube/yoke issue?
- If the tube/yoke are dead, how and where would I find a replacement?
- How much should I expect to pay for a replacement A68LTF356X?
- Could the dimmness be an IC issue or something other than a failing yoke? (Seller says they don't hear a buzzing flyback)
- How much is the price of an NNC impacted by a bad monitor?
