Beginner
Have a MS8-25far (not the model with the pcb-video board). It would start up once in 5 or so times it was powered on. Did a full cap kit (including main filter cap) and have the same problem.
When it does start up (I hear the HV crackle) I don't get any picture (solid black, no retrace lines). I think it is going into shutdown right away. Showing < .1A of current draw. And I am not seeing neck glow.
Anyone have a link to schematics for this? Or suggestions on where to start debugging?
