If you're trying to hook up low/med-res arcade hardware, then I don't think this will work.

EGA is not the same thing as medium resolution.

People should really stop misusing the CGA/EGA terminology.

My memory of it was in the 80’s. CGA meant 4 colours, EGA was 16. I was elite with my EGA Andreas when most kids still had CGA, cyan overload.

In the arcade world it means a different thing though.

The link you posted, is referring to CGA/EGA, as in the computer format from the 80s.

Not sure why or how CGA/EGA came to mean something completely different, in the arcade world.

CEV2TV enables the video output when the input:

• vertical scanning frequency is between 45 Hz and 68 Hz;
