Sega blast city light gun

Anyone know or how to wire a Sega blast for 2 player light gun games? Looked everywhere at the net and found nothing about what light guns are supported and how hook them up or the parts needed.

Every game will have them wired differently. There is no standard.

For those games you'll need the LED array that surrounds the monitor. they made a special monitor bezel for this on Net City, They're very hard to find and I don't know if it will even fit on a blast. If not you'd be looking at making a custom bezel to hold them.

Beyond that you'll need a JVS IO board with analog inputs, the Gun Sense board and of course the appropriate guns with IR sensor. The guns and the LEDs are wired into the gun sense board, then the gun sense board is wired to the JVS IO. The whole setup is quite expensive. you could easily spent $600-$800 on pulling together all of these gun parts.

If you wanted to play older CRT based gun games it would be a lot cheaper and easier. CRT guns are about half the price of the Sega IR gun, and they plug directly into the game PCB, no need for any special monitor bezel or IO boards or anything like that.

It won't. The Blast bezel is very different from a Naomi Uni / Net City one.
