So I have my multi-kit all setup, and in general it works. However, at times a game will fail to operate correctly. What I see is garbled text/graphics which I believe is the "backup data failed press test switch" message but corrupted. In addition pressing the test button on the cabinet (Neo Geo big-red running with JNX JAMMA adapters). The weird thing is this can happen with a game that otherwise was working. For example elevator action 2, most of the time when I switch to it I get the "backup data failed press test switch", press test, adjust the volume (it's too loud by default) and I'm good to go. But other times it's garbled.
Trying to determine if this is an issue with the SD card, ROMs, motherboard, etc... I've been unable to load bubble booble and others at all due to this. If it gets really bad, I've had to pull the multi-kit and put in a real cart to get things to reset. It seems like the backup memory may be corrupting itself on game change.
