Hey all,

I've got two cabs here that came with the chassis, but neither was installed.
Both are versions of the K7000, only difference is one has a few caps on
the underside ave a little extra bit with some caps on it near the fly
back.
It looks like bough have had their flybacks replaced.
However I look at the cabs and one has a zenith tube which I know has the k7000a with it normally.
How can I tell which one goes to the zenith tube and should I be concerned about the replaced flyback?
I know the flybacks aren't compatible between the 7000a and the normal one, but can I use a regular k7000 chassis on the zenith?

Yeah, I got nothing. I would probably just try both chassis and see what happens.

I have several Zenith tubes on regular k7000 (not a) chassis. Both k7000 and "A" variants are compatible with the same tubes. As your question about replaced flybacks, if the chassis main board is the same model number (p538 for 25" and I think p430-something for 19") then these are regular k7000 chassis. Zenith k7000a chassis are a different model format. So if your chassis are p538 or the like then a regular flyback should be on it.
