Splatterhouse PCB question

Hope everyone is well. I have a question for those with an original Splatterhouse arcade PCB.

Is the capacitor (resistor?) shown circled in the picture normal/factory standard? This is on the underside of one of the boards.

I am considering buying the PCB, but wanted to be sure this is normal and not a sign of a repair or modification of some sort (I cannot find another picture online for comparison).
