Hi all,

i found someone that selling this game. It worked great but from what i looked in google and some websites the PCB is a little bit different.

the PCB i found in internet:

https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/...-jamma_1_e16b97595dcfbf37d936772aa8776c4e.jpg

the left PCB with the red and yellow circle (i think it's the ROM Board) has 4 IC s on it

the one that i can buy:

https://imgur.com/VXV3ioU

it has no ICs on the left board

someone know why? because i didn't find any data on this.

Thank you.

Can't see the first link, but the 2nd sure looks legit to me (aside from the homemade kickharness soldered to the JAMMA edge yucky).

Thank you for your answer

i uploaded the first picture on the forum.

The "first" picture looks to have some bootleg? sub board.
Buy the 2nd one and remove/desolder the shit kickharness is my recommendation.

More than likely it's just a different revision. On the other board the same ICs are either on the other side, or maybe Namco used larger chips and combined data for a fewer number of chips.

Both look legit.

One board is actually a tekken tag tournament pcb because of the extra ram or roms on smaller pcb, and the other is most likely a tekken 3. Funny enough, the caption of the second picture says “tekken tag tournament arcade”
It’s a revision A board. I got the same looking pcb as well. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply.

So my PCB is a Tekken Tag Tournament on Tekken 3 board?

how it's possible without the extra ram or rom?

what is the difference between revision A and B board?

thanks a lot!

edit: on the Main Board i have a sticker: SS11 Ver.A

Do you have a picture of your board? I would like to see close ups to check what pcb it is :)

Also, tekken tag and tekken 3 run on the same system board, the Namco system 12.

Of course but i can't understand why the little board is missing IC like you said.

Your board is unique, if you look at my boards, your little board looks like none of mine, the closest looking one is tekken tag. Might be a newer revision, probably Revision B. but I have never seen it before.
Strange...🤔

The tekken tag that has no 3 chips is a conversion and have a ultra difficulty in the menu , i have two of those too

@Franco23444 - Thank you for your replies

@ArcSys101 - Really? do you know conversion from which game? So this version is cheaper because of the conversion? it is better?

Without the 3 chips the game will run as the original or slowly or something like that?

Thank you

I'm confused sorry

My PCB is a bootleg? Or a conversion?

Thank you
