  • I have a spare chassis that I finally got around to testing today and phew, it works! Ish....

The chassis I am working with is a Wells Gardner D9200 that's capable of doing CGA/VGA without issue. (I do like these chassis normally lol this is my 3rd one)

    Cga mode works decently.
I was able to adjust the OSD hz/v screen to get the picture to take about 3/4 the screen. (I am not fond of cga mode on these chassis, tbh, vga mode looks better imo)

So I went to test VGA mode like I always do with a pandora's box as they output in VGA mode rather easily.

    *Out of range*

    Huh?

I tried a few other Pandora boxes and yup...
    Out of range as well.

It's like no vga signal works on this chassis.

    Any ideas?
The cap kit was just done and I didn't see anything that stuck out.
I am almost thinking its a small button/OSD option that few know of..

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

You need to make sure it's 31khz video, aka 640x480 or 480P. VGA can be higher resolutions so if the pandora box output say 800x600 you'll get out of range on your monitor.

Hi!

Yup you were right :)
I fed it a proper 31hz at 480p and it worked flawlessly.

Thanks for the help with this fix
