HI every one , I have a Igs pgm motherboard that I just got today.

and when I plug it in... it works but there is no red, and all I get is a blue tint.

I looked over the board and I can't find what is wrong?

thanks in advance

if you got no red check the contact on the jamma assign to red, if the contact is ok then start tracing back, to eliminate possibilities of a broken trace.

the jamma is fine, going to look over the board again.

thanks

just look at the board, tested it and all seams fine. just no red signal

Just as green and blue, it shall come from some sort of a DAC. Usually a set of resistors, all different in value. Maybe there's a buffer transistor around (not sure). If the resistors are fine and well soldered, then look around for a latch driving them. 9 out of 10 the problem will be in that area. Having a scope would help you a great deal.

thanks for the help Asayuki !!

I started looking around and there is a long black resistor closet to pin 12 on the jamma part side .. that was not working right.

I notice how the color would come back .. so I solder pin 2 and 3 from the right to left .
