How do you feel about Samurai Shodown (Neo-Geo)? The first and 2nd are pretty classic feeling, not unlike SF2/FF1.

I can see newcomers to the speed and complexity being frightened away... But I maintain Capcom Vs. SNK 2 (Naomi) is the ultimate crossover.
