I installed a darksoft cps2 kit tonight, first time ever. Mitsurugi-w thanks for the amazing kit.
The jumpers were my problem, causing my sound to go haywire.
The problem was solved by the advice "only one can be shorted per pair". On my rev 7 PCB, jumper 10 was shorted no matter how many times I cut it. Certain "pairs" are connected together and closing one may inadvertently close another. You have to just use your multimeter until you "only have one short per pair". Mine now works perfectly.
cant thank you enough, I have been wanting this kit for ages, now its all working. All I need now is a Sega Astro cab to put it in !! I am open to offers
