Hello - I'm new around this board so I thought I'd introduce myself. I've been an avid console collector for over 30 years, but have only got into arcade tech in the last year or so. Neo Geo was my gateway drug - the CDZ let me to an AES, which in turn led me to a CMVS. Now that I have what I've completed what I wanted on the Neo Geo, I want to branch out to more arcade boards.
So far I have a decent Cadash cabinet that I picked up locally for $200. I recently picked up a Rastan board, and have a GunForce, Major Title 2, Taito F3 w/Bubble Symphony, and a Capcom CPS2 all on the way. For the moment, I'm plugging these boards into my Cadash cab, but I hope to branch out to a second cabinet and a Supergun over the next few months. A Darksoft CPS2 Multi is ready on my workbench and waiting to go into the CPS2 once that board arrives.
My favorite genres are shmpus, action-adventure, and side-scrolling beat-em-ups.
