is there a way to make that annoying sf3 3rd strike logo go away in attract mode?
 
Yes it is possible, but its difficult ( for me at least )

I think it'll be a nice touch to have it removed. I'll post back if I have any luck.
 
Ok so apparently there is graphical data for that image in the program rom for it. I'm not sure how modified roms are done with CPS3 yet and superbios but on the emulator it works when I 0 it out.

If the 10 file can be modified and replaced as is with no issues then this will definitely work. I can go into more detail if you'd like to give it a try. My CPS3 setup is not up yet so I cannot test.
 
Its annoying in attract mode and if the game is left on or any length of time (repeatedly long term) it will cause screen burn in the one location. I wish capcom had been smart about it an moved it all around the screen
 
You do know that screen burn in takes thousands of hours to develop, right?

I've run the game in the same cabinet for 15 months almost daily, 4-6 hours at a time. No sign of burn in.
 
3rd Strike Logo is only going to give you burn-in if:
- Your brightness is way too high
- You leave it on all day every day in attract and no one plays it... (why?)
