I run a supergun with sega stv and snes adapter to use snes gamepads. The snes adapter have some electronics on rhem and it apears the sega stv gives some overvoltage to the gameport .., when i measure it everything is fine at 5v ... however after a few minutes of playtime the snes adapters are dead.
could the stv be faulty? what can i check?
