What's new
There's not much room for profit in these, better to do it yourself I think. A few hours work soldering and making wiring harnesses.

Neat product though, glad it's open sourced now.

Nice job @Frank_fjs all 3 confirmed and working?
So any plans to do the DreamPSU also short term? Possible a few parts I sent you for spares can be used on that as well.

I haven't looked into the DC board but I think I'm short a few parts. I'll get them ordered and build it, and let you know how it goes.

All x 3 SaturnPSUs confirmed working, via measuring voltages with multimeter. I still need to assemble the wiring harnesses and install one into an actual console, will let you know how that goes.

Ahh, I was wondering where that diagram came from. It was extremely useful, thank you!
Took us quite some time, but honestly I think it should have been included in the first place since there's no info on the silkscreen. Ah well, guess I cannot complain since he did his best to release all relevant files.

The finished PCB looks quite nice btw, good job! :)

So before powering on, is this all I have to do?

I've verified output voltages on SaturnPSU with multimeter outside of the console.

Switch set to 3.3V as I have a type B stock PSU.

Docked SaturnPSU PCB into stock PSU header.

Connected switch wire.

Guessing that 5 pin header (in the middle of the words "black" & "white" is unused? What's it there for?

I'll connect the 2 pin DC power supply wire later, just want to make sure I'm doing things correctly before powering on. Don't want to fry my Saturn and can't seem to locate install instructions.

Must be.

Screw it, I'm powering it on...

I thought there was more wiring involved but it's just the 2 pin power header that's needed. One end to SaturnPSU PCB, the other to DC barrel power jack. Easy.

Also I'm not sure what is up with the 3x 2p headers that have 'CD DRIVE' in the silkscreen?

When you install yours, ensure the 3.3V / 5V switch of the SaturnPSU PCB is set to the correct position, as per the PDF guide that lists all the stock power supplies.

The CD Drive lettering is helping you orientate the PCB correctly, as in "this way facing CD Drive". There's arrows that need to point to the CD drive. Otherwise you may install the PCB backwards.

The 3 x 2 pin header are additional power taps for mods. There's 2 x 5V and 1 x 12V.

And...

It works.
Nice!!! :D

I think you're right about that.

So all 3 x PCBs worked in my Saturn and didn't blow it up. :P

Fitted the DC jack to my console, looks alright. There's a smaller part with the 3D printed parts, no idea what it's for.

I just need to crimp the power wires and I'll post it back to you tomorrow @PascalP.

Need to do some investigating re the 3D replacement parts. It's not sitting flush into the console which is how it's depicted in pictures I've seen. Unsure whether it's a misprint, perhaps my Saturn is different due to being a first model, or perhaps better files exist.

Here's a photo from the internet, from a Pico install but the DC jack and 3D printed part should be the same. Note how it sits flush in the recess of the case:

With the parts you sent me and my console, the 3D printed power supply support sits too far back?
