What's new
I was in for 2 of these but now he has released the files i'll probably just order some pcbs and knock my own up

Wasn't planning to, don't really see the point. I've a few Saturn and DC consoles and have never had an issue with their power supplies.
you will see the use case once you try to use a 100V Saturn in a 220V country (for example) :D

oops someone else posted that he released everything .. nothing to see here..

It's very easy to modify the power supply for a DC from 100V to 220V :) I've done it a few times now. A capacitor swap and a couple of resistors need to be added depending on PSU revision.

I assume the Saturn is similar but I've not looked at that

Its all.in the zip. They are in open office spreadsheet format.

I initially ordered one of each.
So I'm still keen for one of each if someone makes them.

I remember on his updates he was dealing for a very long time with a power issue. His problems began from this issue which took him quite updates with stationary situation. I don't remember him solving it before the supplier started ignoring him. If there's a mistake in the design we better check this before spreading the files and frying Saturns.

Chris released the files and specifics:

I already have the DreamPSU, but I think I will produce some of the Saturn ones if nobody else is going for a run here.. :)
Is there a list of components to order for this? I don't see a components list, mind, I'm pretty noob at using github.

Thanks. I personally don't like to use spreadsheet software (I once had a bad experience!)

So here's a copy and paste list of the parts, for posterity:

I'm pretty sure it came down to bad/fake Texas Inatrument chips the assembler was using. They ghosted him when trying to get them replaced.

Is it just me or is there not silk screen to indicate where the parts go?

Anyone want to group buy the PCB's? I only need one each.

Also, I am seeing that some folks have started producing these already. They are on eBay already. Inertial Computing sells them, etc.

Interesting, got a link?

I have ordered 10 of each together with @PascalP but I have to say it's difficult to match Chris' price in these kind of small quantities. Also the import fees are ridiculous for both the PCB's and the other parts. I can only match that price if I count nothing at all for assembly. Probably will be selling them as DYI kits for around the €40-€45 mark sadly :(

Yeah don’t really know how they can offer them for that price...

As @Sp33dFr34k says, we put in some orders for pcb’s, 3D prints and parts from Digikey and are in for about $45 each just in parts...
That is also including our local taxes, import fees etc

Hopefully we get everything soon, assemble 2 kits for ourselves and sell off the remaining 8 kits, either assembled or DIY...

@Sp33dFr34k and @PascalP - i might be in for 2 kits since i wont be getting the ones i ordered...
