Hi there, recently picked up a USA Neo Geo AES but the audio coming from the headphone jack has a loud buzzing sound coming from it. Any idea how to fix it?

Could just be general power/grounding issues. It's present it all games?

All the gear is on the same outlet / power strip?

Is the sound present if you do things like turn off the tv, or unplug/power-off other stuff in the room?

You could power it up blind on an isolated power outlet and listen to at least confirm if the issue is external or internal in nature. (I don't have an AES but I assume it'll output sound even if it's not sending video anywhere)

What ekorz said is a good way to start, hook up the AES only to its PSU, power it up and use headphones to see if the problem is still there.

If it is, take a look at this thread here, perhaps it describes the same issue and solution for it.

It looks like sound quality did not make it to SNK's priority list. The LM324 opamp alone is a terrible choice for audio use.
