Hey,

My New Net City cab has turned out to be much more of a project (and expense) than I imagined. I'm getting down to the last few bits and among them are locks. The cab arrived without any which means that the service door doesn't stay on the machine and the control panel cannot be properly secured.

I'm guessing the service and coin door locks are these:

However for the control panel it looks like I need a lock + some other part to articulate the latch. Thankfully the machine did include the latch. (this: https://videotronicsuk.glopal.com/en-US/p-470/hot-1520-latch-with-tangs.html)

Are the parts for that these guys?

This picture leads me to believe so but I figured I'd ask before I order: http://www.web-nine.com/albums/arcade/lupin_04.jpg

If anyone has suggestions on where to get this stuff I'd be glad to hear it. This is the only vendor I've found so far but I haven't exhaustively searched. It's tough to imagine spending $100 on thee locks and a tang, but here we are.

Thanks for any help!

For the large plate that fits on the base you need the one on the left and for the control panel you need the one on the right.

normal barrel locks will do fine but they are different lengths to the ones for woodies - I think the service door also opens anti-clockwise.

All the cabs I've had the service door has holes for some torx screws along the bottom edge and that's normally more than enough. As for the CP you can get away with a standard lock tang.

Thanks for the info! I'm most interested in locking the CP as I have friends with young kids who'll be over to play. This way if the panel is secure there's no issues. =)

Those locks on videotronics website aren't the correct ones.

Net City/New Net City/NAOMI U uses 5575 which is a dimple key.

While those will probably fit and key your doors secure but they're not the "Correct" lock for the cab.

Also the service door requires a whole special rotating mechanism to lock the door on 3 sides.

this is the center part: https://videotronicsuk.glopal.com/e...ronicsuk.com&utm_medium=pr&utm_campaign=en_GB

it then has 2 additional long arms that attack to the posts to lock the top and bottom of the door.

EDIT: I believe this is the complete one: https://videotronicsuk.glopal.com/en-US/p-618/hot-1204-cash-box-tang.html

@twistedsymphony: Awesome, thanks for that! I think I have that rotating mechanism. There were a few spare bits floating around in the cab, but it didn't seem like I had the complete parts for everything. This is a great start though.
