Hi guys,
I have a CPS1 set here with a known working B and C board set (tested on another A) and this particular A board boots fine, goes through the startup checks and the warning screen, then goes completely black and white from then forward. Other than the complete loss of colour it seems to be working perfectly which is really strange. I have tried putting replacement RAMs over the colour RAMs to see if that fixes the issue, but it didn't change anything. The startup checks come up in their normal colours as does the warning screen. Does anyone have any idea what might be at fault here? I would normally blame the custom but it normally causes issues across the board including the warning screen and startup checks.
Just so I can rule them out - I've replaced ALL the PALs on the A board
I do seem to be getting some red and I'm definitely getting blue, it depends on the screen. Very strange.
