Hi guys,
Is it possible to use Mitsu JVS IO helper PCB with a TTX2 ?
If yes, which IO board would be recommended ?
Sega rev 1 ? rev 2 ? type 3 ?

Yes. Type 1 works fine. Type 3 works but no extra benefit with the X2.

Thanks @Mitsurugi-w
Do you know if there are some games which are not playable / working with this specific setup ?

All games on Niko's multi work great. Other games would be untested.

Thanks for your fast reply.
I now need to find one sega io rev 1 ;)

Just make sure it's JVS and not a JAMMA I/O. ;)

So I have a TTX2 booting Niko's multi, a Sega i/o type 1 and Mitsu's JVS IO helper PCB.
Everything works fine, but I must be stupid, I don't find the way to enter test menu.

I don't have a cab and no supergun for the ttx2.
Just the IO helper on which I plug my pad and the ttx2 vga plugged on the LCD.

Connect pin 43 of the IO to ground

Yeah the S-JIHP is just a pass-through so you would enter the test menu the same as you normally would with a pcb.

Thanks guys for your reply
As my Sega io type 1 is wired to S-JIHP with 60-pin cable, do I need to solder on Sega io board or on S-JIHP ?
Sorry for the stupid question , but I'm a real noob in soldering stuff :whistling:

The test pin is on the DB25 connector. So you wire it up just like the other controls.

Thanks @Mitsurugi-w, I did it (but I won't show the soldered part :S )
I definitely need to learn how to solder... or find someone close to me for helping me :P
