Thanks for being persistent, but it seems that one also only ships within the US You might be right, too much trouble and I should just go for a normal T8 with starter instead...

I couldn’t find the right light or starter over here, however, I do have this spare power supply.
I expect consumption of this one is lower than the fluorescent lamp.

This is something I have been wondering about for a long time. I need to put some lights in my Blasts, but have never been sure if local Aus tubes could be used. I know there are LED replacements, but have never been sure of how to do that either!

Well.. one thing for sure is on my blast city, home depot bulbs fit fine but the problem with the one I got is way too bright I believe it was the 6000k. now I'm going to have to buy the lowest one they have at home depot or Amazon because the light bleeds too much on screen.
