there is no real standard for video signal levels.
you learn that when you have enough boards.

SNK are the worst - many of their boards will overdrive supergun/scart inputs,
you have to add caps & resistors to clean it up.

In the meatime the results from my Squash rev1 conversion to TH rev1:
Pal set is the same in the two games.
A rom and FPGA swap does the trick, but my TH FPGA's were toast.
And the wire link wich is on Squash needs to be removed to play TH.

Hey guys, i have a TH rev /1, will the conversion works on it? how's the set up? I'm a bit tired of that poor platform!

All i need to do is to install on PA4 a 2ohm resistor or a piece of wire and on A20 is located a 20mhz crystal witch i want to change it with a 24mhz one.
I’ll update the post using a video after i’ll power the board

After 1 year i have the confirmation about what ive done by following the steps provided was good . Now only thing remained is to make the A20 position mod (crystal swap) ... i didnt managed so far to remove it ... i dont have a ideea now how to do it ... its kinda stucked ...

Necro bump, finally picked up a Squash and I am about half way through this conversion.

For the Crystal Oscillator:

24 MHz Crystal Oscillator - 14-DIP (4 Lead) package

This is the one I am ordering, it seems to fit all the requirements. Once I actually get around to doing this mod I will follow up if it actually works.
