GD ROM reader who puts in stanby a Naomi Morherboard

Hello :)


I have a
Naomi GD ROM drive that blocks the startup of the Naomi motherboard when
I turn on all of them. The Bollard stays on but the motherboard &
the Gd Rom Drive turns off.

what if you disconnect the data cable but leave the power still connected?
 
I remember having a similar issue. The PCB inside the drive was toast and short circuited.
