I've never seen that error so it must be related to a bad contact. Did you check/clean them? Is your console working 100% with other games?

The mother board contact or the cartridge contact ?
I've not clean them but i have more of 50 original mvs games working perfectly.
I have 2 different mother board ( double slot mvs mv2 and mv2f , with same issues on the 2 mother board )

Which PSU are you using? Have seen some issues in the past with consolized units with too weak PSU

I've try with with an arcade power supply 5v/15A 12v/2.5A
And with other one , a power supply than i use with naomi netdimm.

Maybe the MV2 and MV2F slot are not 100% compatible?

Which motherboard is the least problematic with darksoft multi mvs please?

@marcos that Firmware that you have is very old. Please update to the latest.

Are you using a microSD SDHC? It won't work with SDXC.

I've update with the latest firmware and it's worst now .
i use a sdhc samsung 32 evo

update like this ?
first flash, mvs on for update,mvs off, i remove sd card.
2 top , mvs on for update , then mvs off , remove sd card .
3 remove cartridge, mvs on clear up backup nvram. put cpld for update and mvs on.

menu was already the last one (22 nov 2019)

But always full of graphics glitches.
I don't understand.
Maybe the cartridge have an issue, no ?

You can't mix menu and firmware versions. That's why they are given together. Put all files on the microSD and let it power cycle and finish the update.

Should I remove the menu file from the games file?

I followed the instructions but when i place the new menu on a folder called “menu” inside \update the folder \menu inside \update was not deleted.
Something is wrong with my cartridge, i've buy on ebay ( the seller says it works perfectly.)
, this cartridge never worked properly on my two models mother boards (graphics glitches).
And he said i must use with a mv1fz.
My 2 slot mvs mv2 and mv2f working properly with original games.

Where can i see a correct video for updating this cartridge ?

i did the update on another sd card to keep the seller's sd card as i got it for safety. I copied his sd card to mine to update.
Maybe i must send it back to the seller ? What do you think ?

* i'm not a beginner in arcade, i have pcb game, mvs, cps1 cps2, igs pgm 1 and 2 , type x2 multi , naomi net dimm. all working perfectly at home.
I don't understand what's going on with this cartridge.
