what is the problem with that ? I guess they do that to prevent chinese cloning or maybe some sensitive data is contained in their software ? I feel one has to respect developers decisions if they feel they need to protect their investment. I am pretty sure if you email them they will sekd you back order information.
The problem is that the implementation of the validation is crap.
When I'm logged in in the PSIO site, the system should recognize that I a bought a PSIO, the system should know what is my email address, the system should know what is the serial number of my PSIO and the system should know what is the order number.
But that's not the case, even thought this information (excluding the serial number) is available in the "my orders" section.
Now, when I manually type my email address, my serial number and my order number (which is already annoying enough), I would expect that the system validates the perfectly correct data I enter.
But: "ERROR: Sorry, but that doesn't match! Please check that your email address, serial number and order ID are correct and try again."
So I need to write an email and wait for an answer.
To cut a long story short: It's *very* annoying and yes, it's a problem.
