So I decided to spring for the more expensive Wei-ya universal with the remote board, instead of the sub-$60 chinese clone I was using before. But it seems I still have the same problem where brightness/color shifts depending on what's being displayed. Does it on all Jamma boards, I even input RGBs into the Chassis directly, bypassing the Jamma harness and it was still doing it.

Found a consistent way to display the problem I have.

I had that same problem on a Chinese clone chassis. I could never figure it out. I eventually gave the monitor away.

I think the main cause for this issue is the first 2 words in your topic title; ‘wei ya’...

Sorry bud, can’t help it but those things just suck big time.

I've never bought one of their chassis but I have bought one of their other gadgets like the CGA/CRT to RCA/S-Video converter and no matter what I do the picture has a blue tint to it.

rip, oh well. It's not that big of a deal since I just use this for my DDR cabinet. I guess I can start looking into a suitable chassis for the tube I have in here. Swapped in Sharp TV tube because the old Korean monitor died.
