Hi guys,
I'm trying to fix a Killer Instinct - it originally had the white lines through the screen as well as a whole pile of garbage between the white lines and wouldn't go any further. I've successfully reflowed the CPU and it now boots, but the rolling blue screen and then the game itself have quite a bit of graphics corruption, mainly lines through the screen.
I suspect this may well be the U92 chip as I believe this does the video output, but it would be nice to confirm if this is something others have seen before and if it's fixable or not. The board was fairly dusty and had some gunk around components so I've given it a really good clean as well as cleaning the edge connector, to rule that out as a potential issue. The board is now drying off, but I will confirm if this helps or not.
