What's new
Maybe somebody could help me figure out what I have here?

I bought a CPS3 mobo with a 3S cart a few years back, and turned it into a superbios setup using a different cart. I have since misplaced the CD that came with the 3S cart, and am trying to get it working now. All of the CDs I've downloaded are giving me invalid CD errors. I opened the cart to find that it had no battery, and I'm not sure what has been done to the cart to make it battery free.

What CD should I be using for this cart?

I get an invalid CD error from that ISO too. So far I've tried the actual USA and Japan 3S discs, as well as the UniCD for custom SH2. I've also tested on two separate CD drives in case the original was bad.

I would say your drive is bad as those SCSI drives have a habit of dying...

I had a CPS3 setup as well with a dead drive and used a SCSI2SD which worked flawlessly

The drive works on my other setup with a different 3rd strike cart. That cart came with an official Capcom CD, and the cart says it's for Mexico region on the back. That disc also doesn't work with this battery free USA cart I'm trying to get working.

You can tell he needs the custom SH-2 disk because the SH-2 has not been swapped. The only thing I can think is he doesn't actually have a SuperBIOS installed and rather a 2nd Impact bios that was used for the very early methods.
