CF Reader / Sun PSU black screen & no boot

Hey everyone,

Mitzi is helping me as well, but I thought I’d see if anyone has fixed a similar issue. I have a Net City with Sun PSU and I’m having Cf reader issues. I’m showing a black screen and not even booting to the Naomi boot screen most of the time. Every now and again, the system will work but if I reset or change games it goes black again.

My voltages are 12.1v, 5.07v, and 3.45v

It will run a regular game and usually run the Dimm without the reader plugged in.

Any ideas? Thanks!

It will also boot up with the CF reader plugged in but no game card.

Make sure the JVS/USB connection is always present. When testing a Naomi CF setup myself, I wasn't making that connection, and was always getting a black screen. I figured it would boot further and eventually give me an I/O error of some kind, but nope. Black screen every time.

I think it is hooked up correctly because it will play sometimes and has no trouble with regular carts. Also thank you
