Ok, so I bought a 2nd hand cps2 multi and then learned abount the updates, audio crackle fix and reset fix and whatnot. I guess the reset is not a big deal since I play with the board right in front of me, but the audio one would be an issue I think. What are the symptoms of that issue? Does it crackle with all games or just certain ones? I see the fix is fairly complex so I would probably ship it off to Mitsu to fix instead of doing it myself. Is there anything else I should check for when I get it? I should have it next week so will follow up.
