Then that is likely your control issue on Fast I/O.
Actually you have made it further than I have at present - I have a ttxshell.exe crash when a JVS I/O is connected now.
No idea why and currently unable to troubleshoot at present...
 
Were you able to make this work using a generic motherboard?

I have the IO mostly correctly installed. Actually @Murray has probably solved the last issue with the hardware drive issue I had. Problem I have at present is software related - ttxshell.exe crashes at startup (after correctly reading Dips and handshaking with the JVS IO).
It’s still a work in progress so hopefully?
 
i'm using the dmac from x3 on a aftermarket motherboard. i have fast io working on artax multi. but jvs doesnt work. the header is connected to my single com port on the mb and its getting 5v on pin 9. the leds work and i set the com port on device manager to com2 but it doesnt work. anyone have any tips? i heard its a bios thing.
