I thought there might be use for one of these. Quick questions that don't necessarily deserve full-on threads.
I'll start.
I have two Hydro Thunder IO boards that are busted. These are like 100+ bucks each, so instead of buying replacements I'll attempt fixing mine. They both exhibit the same issue, analog movement from the wheel and gas don't register at all. Tracing the analog signals from the control panel I see they're connected to JP7 in the lower left corner of the PCB. And what do you know, next to it is a visibly blown IC! On both boards!
However, I'm having trouble identifying the chip, U4. "845 1098" is just giving me phone numbers on Google.
