Yeah, the Pabst was expensive... I can't remember where i bought at the time, probably on Amazon.
I also had to change the connector which i cannibalized from a dead Windows PC.

Pabst = expensive. I used a Gelid silent fan. They are all good, but I'm not hammering my CPS2 pcbs 24/7.

Whitout this fan control speed it's too noisy even the fan itself it's a silent one.I've checked 3 fans, and i've decide to keep this fan .. Gelid, but beside that i've used an control fan speed.
thanks for the reply im gonna go with the set up that you have , gelid fan with the fan speed control you link me to

My costume joystick I made. Bought a qanba fight stick look alike with 6 buttons and took all the guts out and made it into a CPS2 joystick to connect to the HAS  . Also did a hole for the player 1 and one for the coin button.

The Neo CD pads require 5V or they don't work. From memory without power the joystick doesn't work. Could be the buttons though, I can't remember but I did specifically test this and discovered that one or the other (stick / buttons) doesn't work without power.

I see.. Thanks for the info :) , but this joystick is to play on a CPS2 with the HAS, i dont need to connect anything to the number 8 (+5) ?

if i remember correctly i didn't connect pin 8 - both my sticks i modded for the HAS work perfectly

Anyone knows where i can get CPS2 parts ? Like a new volume up/down/test buttons?
