Hi, can someone suggest how I connect my loom connectors to my Sanwa buttons (shown below)? Do I need an adapter or do I need to connect to both pins or one?

Any advice would be appreciated! :)

One is ground, one is the button number you're using. So just pop those connectors on the button. The Player 1 Button 1 wire to one side of the button, and a ground wire to the other side.

Usually the ground ones are daisy-chained together.

@rewrite, thanks. Appreciate the quick response!

Is there a preferred way to connect the loom connector to the pin? I was just going to open it a little, slide it over then clamp it on the pin.

It should just slide over the pin, no need to widen it or something.

Yes, I'm talking about the connector :D

They should just slide on, but remember, these will be buttons you'll be pounding on. Make sure they are secure.
IT also won't hurt to purchase connectors that will fit your button terminals.

What helps best for wiring up a fight stick/control panel is to fire up an arcade board and enter in a test mode for confidence of actuation.
That's how I pretty much wired up everything I had with serial.

I would snip those old connectors off and get matching .110" connectors if you're happy with your JPN buttons.
