CPS2 battery voltage is low

I repaired the suicide CPS 2. Although a new battery is installed,
However, the battery ran out again shortly after one week.
I bought the battery again.
We measured the voltage of the battery before connecting it to the board. The figure is 3.6V.
2.9 V when connected to the board. The figure is low.

I replaced the electrolytic capacitor around the battery, but there is no change.
For what reason is the figure low?
I sometimes see substrates with similar symptoms, but can this be repaired?

What battery type are you using?

If the batteries have a recent manufacturing date and they are the correct type then maybe there is a short somewhere drawing more power from the battery.
