2 things I do notice besides the broken pin;
- Lots of dust on your B board :P
- Why is there a jumper wire on the PAL? Shouldn't be needed with a G PAL on a Rev. 7 board?
EDIT; I see you have a F PAL, so it should be OK then I guess

Maybe this was divine intervention to give my B board a more thorough cleaning..... :S :P

So if I get that pin sorted out, I should be good to go? Hopefully? :/

you could swap it to a G PAL to get rid of the extra wire and clean up your install, but in the end it should work the same

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with what you're describing.
There is a better fix than replacing the broken pin?

I think we are talking about 2 different thing my friend :)
The broken pin needs to be replaced no matter what.

What I'm talking about is that you have a F PAL installed (the one with the orange wire which connects to your multi), you could replace this with a G PAL and don't need the additional wire anymore.
Functionally it is 100% the same.

Ah, I figured. Thank you.
As you all can see, I'm not the most knowledgeable with a of this so I thank you all for your patience

I'm sure you'll get it running after replacing the broken pin and also install the interconnect board properly.
In the pics you've posted before it looks like there is a small gap on the right side of the interconnect.
Try reseating that as well like @Darksoft already pointed out

I've reseated it, it's in as snug as possible. I'll get back to y'all as soon as I can replace the pin, I have a friend who can do it.

If they don't send me a G pal to install then I just install the jumper wire. It works fine and is a bit cheaper for the customer. Besides it's hidden in the shell. ;)

Does anyone know these pins specs?
I'm going to need to order some.
Thanks in advance!

Those are just standard Male machine pins. I bought a case of them for future multi projects on ebay. :)

Hello,
I have a friend locally taking a look at the board and asked this,
"I didn't find continuity between those pins and anything else and this is my first time working on these and want to make sure that's normal."
Picture is included

Thanks in advance!

After a month, some headaches and some heartaches......

I can finally say my Darksoft is up and running!!!!

The pin that was broken during shipping was the culprit, and after getting the pin replaced everything seems perfect!

Thank you to everyone who chimed in and helped!

My biggest complaint with the CPS2 multi is...

It's too much darn fun! I play mine all the time, so convenient having an entire library of games at your fingertips.
