What's new
Was setting up a potential order of these Gerber on PCBway, and I got an email with this message:

"Thank you so much for order on pcbway.com.
Noticed you need golden finger and beveling. But, the minimum size for beveling is 45mm. Please kindly note.
Thanks."

Anybody else have issues getting PCBway to bevel the jamma fingers on these?
They asked me the same thing, and said they needed to chop 1mm from the fingers. I told them to do it. I got mine in and everything seems just fine. Not sure what the problem was.

Total guess here, it is coming up to Chinese New Year, meaning they'll be on filler staff. They also sub contract work out at times meaning the manufacturer may not have as capable machinery to do the bevelling.

I wouldn't worry about it, it's not essential.

So I tried a few different options regarding the cabling of the extension.

The first thing I tried was bundling the cables together and using braided sleeving but the problem using that method was the cable was too rigid.

I ended up settling on what you see in the attached images, I cut the IDE into strips of 3 wires and wrapped it in fabric tape.

This method is quick, neat and easy and makes for a very flexible extension.

Exciting news fellas.

I've been liasing with an Aliexpress supplier whom specialises in computer cables. I've had them custom make the ATX cables we need for these jamma extenders. 24 pin male to male with 18awg braided wire, in your choice of colour! I've had them make it a standard stock item so anyone can order.

Sooo good. Nice price too. I might colour pimp mine out.

New version up.

Rev 1.5

Fixed pin numbering on ATX connector.

Resized footprint for IDC connector.

Added revision number to PCBs.

Copper surrounds for mounting holes. Holes positioned 4mm from edge.

Narrowed jamma edge PCB to accommodate more types of jamma edge connectors.

Various silkscreen and copper tweaks.

@Frank_fjs Just a suggestion while you're at it, maybe you could make the power traces just a bit wider and move the vias away from the edge connector contacts?

Power traces are 90mil and there's four of them for +5V, two each for +12V and -5V.

Massive copper pour for ground.

Do you really think it necessary?

Ground is perfect, but personally I'd make the traces wider since there's no PCB constraint here (at least +5V traces).
