SSF2T Does not save previous volume level setting

I have a SSF2T A+B board just replaced original battery recently. One thing I noticed that the volume level reset to the loudest if I turn it back on after a certain period of time. I can't tell if it's the A or B board that's not saving the setting. As for my X-Men vs Street Fighter with A+B board, where I just got couple days ago, doesn't have that problem. Even if I turn it back on a day later, the volume that was set previous is saved. Anyone know what might be the problem. Thank you all in advance.

There are some topics about this issue, solution would be to replace the supercap on the A board.
It was either the really big one or a coin cell like cap...

I had this issue before with one of my A-Boards. Replace the supercap that looks like a coin cell next to the toshiba chip
