Anyone else had issues with vertical hold on this monitor when using a MVS board? I can adjust the hold but it always ends up drifting off. Other boards do not have this issue. CPS2 is working fine.

Probably want to find someone local with an oscilloscope to check your MVS sync, if other boards all work OK in the same range.

Cool so this would not be a normal thing for mvs with this monitor I assume? I’m wondering if all my other boards are using composite sync and this one of not. I have it wired for composite sync only currently.

No, it should not be normal to have to adjust this. V size, H size, yes, however, I suspect your MVS is faulty if it is the only board you have to adjust HOLD for.

No it is not the MVS board, I've had exactly the issue on my Wei-Ya but it died on me before I was able to fix it iirc. I actually bought a sync cleaner from silverfox I ended up never using. I figured it might fix this problem, but as I said wasn't able to confir.

Good to know, also the monitor does not seem to like 480i. On the title screens for stv games like Radiant Silvergun it’s extremely jumpy but stablizes once in game. I’m assuming it changes to progressive mode once in game.
