I've been looking to get my Marine Fishing up and running from one of my GetBass panels, I've unfortunately been unable to find anything but the DLX manual like the one here: http://store.playitamusements.com/Manuals/MarineFishing -DLX.pdf

It honestly took me a long time to even confirm that there was a "Naomi Upright" version of this game.
Almost all of the ones I've ever seen are DLX, and a few STD's peppered in.

Luckily a few pictures remain confirming my sanity.

Has anyone got this manual on hand in physical, or digital format? Worst case I figure I can start with wiring up the analog inputs, and work on getting the buttons, and reel connected to the proper inputs in the game menu. I'm gonna need to work out the IO board pinouts though. My plan was to use the notes from AGS here: http://triplemoonstar.brinkster.net/theshed/default.asp?stockid=2098

Can anyone make this much easier for me with the proper manual?

Thanks!

I made some progress this morning, I got the IO board into a cabinet, and was able to change the Game Assignments and move it from DLX to STD cabinet mode. After that it stopped looking for the "Network" and booted right up. Now to figure out the actual IO input pins.

Here are some photos of it in attract mode, and me getting it up and running messing around in the menus.

These are gonna be brutal to restore... just got a new reel cover enroute. Between the two I hope to get one good panel up. My OCD is gonna have to wait on the Artwork. I doubt I’ll find it. See the third image... Marine Fishing was an basically an upgrade to the Bass Fishing series.

I've almost got the IO pins all mapped out. After working it out manually, I missed the final pin for Reel Speed, and caught a post by @twistedsymphony that confirmed what I had done thus far: Mini USB JVS IO board?

A0 pull position
A1 swing position
A2 stick X
A3 stick Y
A4 reel speed
A5 tension

In standard mode "tension" does not apply from what I can tell.

It seems that CN7 on the 837-13844 type 2 IO board matches what is listed on the type 3 board here:
http://triplemoonstar.brinkster.net/theshed/default.asp?stockid=2532

For some reason it is not listed on the actual page here:

I used the below snapshots from various manual IO pinouts to work out my manual pinning for the upright variant. Time to go make some harnesses! I'll leave the clutch off for now, but there seems to be a theme to hooking it just the same. I feel like I have a solid lead on getting it going.

hi friend, did you do it?
I happened here by chance .... and you made me go back in time, it was hard work ... I started too, I did all the wiring from 0 fully functional, now placed in a spare box , because now I have an original wiring, and a double marquee ..

let me know what step you're on.

Hi

If anyone needs the marquee for this game for Naomi, let me know. I have an original stashed away.

Hello
Picking up a bass fishing dx cabinet….
Couple questions
Can you make a marine fishing pc work in this cabinet?
Anyone have a fish topper for sale as mine is missing?
Regards
Erik
