I don't think there is a way of doing it that doesn't make it look bad. You could drill holes into the top of the case and install stand-offs to get the SD2SCSI to mount to it, but again, it'll look tacked-on.
ekorz's suggestion is a pretty good way of getting a metal case with support for SD2SCSI.
Take your choice, cheap original case with ugly mounted SD2SCSI, or pay a bit more for something nicer and properly integrated.
