I'm trying to wire my blast city with a cps2 kick harness, but having a hard time finding the connectors and I'd rather not run the cables from the cps2 connector up through the CP to the buttons directly.

So I've been looking at connectors that I think might work in place of the originals, but wanted to ask if anyone had knowledge as to if they would work.

First, from the CPS2 board to the Blast City I/O CN8, I was looking at this - 7S - 8 Pin JST-XH (image is big so I put it in spoiler tags to help)

The wiring guide mentions JST NH, but I haven't had luck finding them anywhere. I'm hoping this might work.

The other connector I'm looking for is the 10 pin molex that's in the control panel. The female side is all hooked up (I'm assuming it runs to the I/O somewhere? I tried to follow it but it gets lost in the sea on wires that are all tied together). The part I'm looking at to plug into it is this - Molex 10-Pin Black Connector Pitch 4.20mm

I'm hoping these will work as the going rate on these cables seems to be around 40 on ebay, so I'd rather just make them myself.

Any advice appreciated!
Thanks!

For the IO board, you're going to want the 8 Pin NH series connector:

H8P-SHF-AA. (you're going to have to order them directly from JST, I'm afraid)

I have a cable already made and good to go if you're looking and can't find a connector available.

For the extra button harness, the part you want is the AMP UP 10 pin:

the pins are:

TBH I order from JST all of the time. They are super affordable and the shipping is really fast and not expensive.

Occasionally I will have to wat while they manufacture things but the cool part is they rarely make a product obsolete and are willing to remanufacture older items if they can get a minimum order amount. I ordered the connectors used for RGB on the Gonbes and the yoke on some monitors. Had to order the minimum amount myslef. So in like 2 months I'll have some for sale. :P

@Mitsurugi-w — would you have the parts to make a switcher between 15khz and 24khz on the Astro City?

I honestly don't know which proxies support shipping to Australia.

He sells a few different configurations of switches so make sure you're buying the correct one, or have your proxy service contact him to confirm (the auction listing seems to imply he builds them to order).

Will do, thanks again for linking it.

Bit of a thread hijack but can anyone identify these 2 while we have the experts in here, from a Namco noir control panel wiring to what I presume should of been the JVS I/O board (nothing there now). Look similar to the Hi-rose, different product range?

there's a guy on Yahoo Auctions that makes/sells them:https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c711211226https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u232430195
Excellent! Thanks for that. Do you recommend a proxy for a small purchase like this?
You used Jauce before? not all that cheap though but reliable proxy service

No shit. Is it this one?

If it is, I'll definitely take a bunch.
