I've talked to a few of you and have lurked a lot, but after being sucked into the real arcade hardware rabbit hole I guess I should say hi since I spend so much time here now 
I'm a bit young so I never got to experience arcades in their prime but my passion has always been fighting games new and especially old.
I run a tournament series for older niche fighters called Poverty Maniacs, and have friends with superguns and various PCBs and thought to myself, "why the hell am I playing on Mame for again?"
I remember seeing the UD CPS2 in Highschool thinking how awesome it'd be to own something like that but I could never afford it...and now I'm in deep with a HAS, PVM, Darksoft CPS2, Naomi, and probably jumping down the NeoGeo hole soon
The idea or arcade preservation is very important, and I hope I can inspire my local scene to get involved as well
