Still in early stages, some tweaking to do, but happy with my progress and results thus far especially considering this is my first attempt at something like this.
Trying to design some 3D printed enclosures for my Snes and Mega Drive to Neo-Geo controller adapters. Case is solid, need to tweak the lid now.
I couldn't design a lid that I was happy with. Just couldn't get it to close securely and would have to make the enclosure bulkier to accomodate which I didn't want to do. Also takes a lot longer to print a full enclosure with two separate parts.
What I ended up with is a tub for the PCB to sit in. Quick to print, protects the underside of the PCB and prevents shorts. It's all press fit, little tabs on the front, rear and sides securely mount the PCB to the printed tray.
